QUALITY ASSURANCE/ QUALITY CONTROL

AEC consistently strives for a high level of quality in providing all of its professional environmental and laboratory services to clients. The company has established quality control procedures and an integrated quality assurance program to monitor and assure their reliability.

The quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program sets prescribed standards of performance for:

  1. Sampling
  2. Monitoring
  3. Testing
  4. Measurement
  5. Calculating
  6. Analysis
  7. Design
  8. Drafting
  9. Reporting

Every project includes the appointment of a QA Officer. The project’s QA Officer determines that ongoing project activities are complying with AEC’s QA Policies and Procedures. The Project’s QA Officer also oversees:

  1. Audit procedures for aspects of the project, including field investigations, sampling procedures, laboratory procedures, and project management;
  2. Document control procedures;
  3. Data interpretation procedures;
  4. Project reports, recommendations and final products.

AEC policies require QA/QC documentation and data quality assessment for precision, accuracy, representativeness, comparability, and completeness.

AEC is also a registered laboratory with American Industrial Hygiene Association for Laboratory Quality Assurance Programs, Proficiency Analytical Testing (PAT) Program.
